When the Nordschleife isn’t being used for one of the official events the gates are opened for a unique track day experience, the so called Touristfahrten. In short, the Nordscheife becomes a derestricted toll road where you can enjoy a lap of one of the most daunting circuits in the world for 21 Euros a shot!

However, Touristfahrten doesn’t come without rules, essential considering the very real possibility of monumentally stuffing things up. The dangers of the Nordschelife must be taken seriously. With all this in mind, it is essential that you have done your research and that you are suitably prepared. Consider arranging some passenger laps or tuition before taking the wheel yourself.
