The Burgstube can be found above the village
of Nürburg, overlooked by the imposing castle from
which the village and the circuit took their name. The Nordschelife,
GP circuit and the famous Pistenklause restaurant are all
within a ten minute walk. Check the circuit
map for the exact location.
The hotel has a popular bar well stocked
with the ever popular Bitburger (on draught of course),
Früh Kölsch (an excellent ‘young’
beer from Köln) and Erdinger Weissbier with its famous
tall glass. The Burgstube is also open for food most nights.
Your friendly host is Martin Bird, originally
from the UK. He runs the Burgstube along with Andy, Heidi
and Milly (the cat!). The team who all speak excellent English
have the Nordschleife in their blood and will be only too
happy to put on some of their huge library of ‘Ring
videos or fire up the X-Box for a virtual lap!
Twin, double and triple rooms are available
and all bookings are for four nights from Thu 22nd May to
Mon 26th May (longer stays may be possible). A traditional
German breakfast will be served each morning using, wherever
possible, locally produced meats, cheeses and eggs. Breakfast
is included in the price.
